July 4 Petunia Parade March - Dixon
We are marching in the July 4th Petunia
Parade in Dixon. We are meeting at noon and the parade starts at
1pm. We have a large flatbed truck with seats so even those of us
that can not walk the parade route can join us and ride along. If
you want to walk you are welcome to do that as well. More
infomation is to follow, but if you want to march in the parade (or
ride) we need to hear from you by July 1 (email us with the link at the
top of the page). We have T-shirts available, please let us know by
June 25th your size and bring $10 with you to the parade if you want a
shirt. We ask that all signs be respectful and positive as we
want to represent our group the way we always have been, family values
orientated. (It will be easy to spot those Coffee cup
infiltrators :)
Pledge of Non-Violence
I
am not asking people to sign the Martin Luther King non-violent pledge simply because I
believe we do not need to. We have been rallying for a year
without a bit of evidence of violence. Our group has proved
themselves to be civil, non-violent, and in the American conservative
tradition. However, many people are Glenn Beck fans so I have
posted the pledge. If you with to sign the form you can by clicking
here. It is a great reminder to
the left of what we have always stood for without needing a pledge.
